Apparently this year has been a bumper year for bluebells and judging by my outing yesterday that's certainly the case.The West Woods near Marlborough are renowned as one of the best bluebell woods in Europe and it was certainly the best show I've seen.
The woods cover a large area and much of it is carpeted in bluebells. The picture here doesn't do justice to the magnificent show of colour there.
